Jackson’s brother does not support tribute plans


Michael Jackson’s brother Randy does not ‘support’ plans for a memorial tribute to him in their hometown of Gary, Indiana.

The 48-year-old singer – who recently went into hospital for a suspected minor heart attack – admits he is in disagreement with the rest of his family about plans for the first anniversary service for his late superstar sibling on June 25, which his mother Katherine is expected to attend.

Lady Gaga to use dead bodies at gigs


Lady Gaga plans to use dead bodies in her concerts.

The ‘Alejandro’ singer plans to team up with scientist Gunther Von Hagens – who is famous for his ‘Body Worlds’ exhibitions, which depicts preserved human corpses in various poses – to come up with a striking new vision for her ‘Monster Ball Tour’.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ‘She is fascinated by Gunther’s work and life and he has the kind of past she is drawn to.

MySpace is giving one unsigned act the opportunity to open for the Prince of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, at this year’s iTunes festival as he returns with his superb new album Scream, out on June 21st.

The social networking giant will be giving one unsigned band this incredible once-in-a-lifetime chance – to play a support set for rock’s most enduring legend, Ozzy Osbourne, at the festival on the 3rd of July. Keith Urban Looks Good on Eagles’ Summer Tour


One of the first things Keith Urban did at his Chicago show on Saturday night (June 19) was thank the Eagles for being so cool. And I think the crowd was probably feeling the exact same way: grateful to the Eagles. By inviting Urban out on the road for their big summer tour, the Eagles may have exposed hundreds of thousands of their fans to the superstar in Urban, who looked just as comfortable in his role as opener as he does when he’s the one headlining the show.

I mean, sure, to a lot of Eagles fans he might have just been Nicole Kidman’s husband. But after his hour-long and 11-song set, the roughly 35,000 fans there must have known that this man was one of country music’s most well-rounded entertainers. There were the uptempo rockers that gave him a chance to show off his guitar chops, like show starters “Kiss a Girl” and “Days Go By.” Then the quiet ballads like “‘Til Summer Comes Around” gave the fans a taste of his pleading and haunting voice. … continue reading this entry.
